Get Daily: Translating brand strategy into e-commerce UX

Get Daily is a modern coffee brand built around making coffee a simple part of the everyday routine. The website needed to balance a strong visual identity with a shopping experience that made it easy to discover the products, understand what made each one different, and move naturally toward purchase.

Making discovery and purchase feel effortless.

Making discovery and purchase feel effortless.

Get Daily needed to do more than showcase a bold brand. The experience had to help people quickly understand what was available, see how the coffees differed, and move naturally from exploring the range to choosing what to buy.

The experience was built around three things.

Finding a visual direction for Get Daily

Finding a visual direction for Get Daily

Before designing the interface, I explored how Get Daily could build a visual language of its own. I looked at how bold typography, colour, editorial layouts, product storytelling, and nutrition-led information could come together while still keeping the shopping experience easy to navigate.

With the three part journey in place — discover, understand, buy. I mapped the key sections across the homepage and product page before introducing the visual language. This helped me work through what information people needed at each stage, from exploring the range and understanding the product to answering questions before purchase.

Building a visual system around everyday energy

Building a visual system around everyday energy

The visual language needed to feel energetic enough to give Get Daily a distinct personality, but controlled enough to keep the products and information easy to understand. I used a warm, high-contrast palette with Poppins as the primary typeface, then introduced a handwritten accent to add a more human, everyday feel.

The final experience brought the earlier ideas together into a storefront that balances Get Daily’s bold visual identity with a clear path from discovering the range to understanding each product and making a purchase.
